ICD-Code F06.0: Organic hallucinosis

Due to a physical illness, you are perceiving things which are not really there.

When sensory perception is impaired in this way, this is also known as having hallucinations. For example, you may see or hear things that are not really there. You may also have the feeling that your body is being touched by something you cannot see.

Physical illnesses can cause these types of psychological symptoms. This can happen if the brain is damaged or otherwise affected by illness.
