Sie haben eine Knorpel-Erkrankung am Ellenbogen.
Am Ellenbogen treffen 3 Knochen aufeinander. Das sind der Oberarm-Knochen sowie die beiden Knochen im Unterarm. Die Unteram-Knochen heißen Elle und Speiche. Elle und Speiche sind jeweils über ein eigenes Gelenk mit dem Oberarm-Knochen verbunden. So kann man den Arm beugen und strecken. Ein drittes Gelenk am Ellenbogen verbindet die Elle mit der Speiche. Dadurch kann man den Unterarm nach innen und nach außen drehen. Diese Bewegung braucht man zum Beispiel beim Eindrehen einer Glühlampe.
Die Knochen in einem Gelenk sind mit Knorpel bedeckt. Wenn das Gelenk bewegt wird, dann verhindert der Knorpel, dass die Knochen aneinanderreiben. Normalerweise ist Knorpel fest, biegsam und hat eine glatte Oberfläche.
