Sie haben eine Knorpel-Erkrankung am Knöchel oder am Fuß.
Die beiden Unterschenkel-Knochen haben an ihrem unteren Ende jeweils einen Knochen-Vorsprung. Diese Knochen-Vorsprünge heißen Knöchel. Zwischen dem Unterschenkel und dem Fuß befindet sich das Sprunggelenk. Es gibt ein oberes und ein unteres Sprunggelenk. Der Fuß und die Zehen bestehen aus vielen kleinen Knochen und Gelenken. Hinten ist die Fußwurzel, danach folgt der Mittelfuß und anschließend die einzelnen Zehenglieder.
Die Knochen in einem Gelenk sind mit Knorpel bedeckt. Wenn das Gelenk bewegt wird, dann verhindert der Knorpel, dass die Knochen aneinanderreiben. Normalerweise ist Knorpel fest, biegsam und hat eine glatte Oberfläche.
