Pus has accumulated in a cavity in the wall of your bladder. This can occur as a result of certain other diseases of the intestines or bladder, for example. A foreign body in the bladder or a procedure on the bladder may also lead to the accumulation of pus. In some cases, the cause of the abscess is unknown. An abscess in the wall of the bladder can cause symptoms such as pain when urinating or blood in the urine. You may also have abdominal pain or a high temperature.
