Die Brust besteht aus Fettgewebe, Bindegewebe und der Brustdrüse. In der Brustdrüse wird während und nach der Schwangerschaft Milch gebildet, um das Kind stillen zu können. Die Milch aus der Brustdrüse wird über die Milchgänge zur Brustwarze geleitet.
Die erweiterten Milchgänge können zum Beispiel durch zu viele oder zu wenige Geschlechts-Hormone im Körper entstehen. Es kann sein, dass sich die Brustdrüse anders anfühlt. Es kann auch sein, dass die Brust schmerzt oder die Brustwarze Flüssigkeit abgibt.
