Bei Ihnen haben sich in der Schwangerschaft das Kind oder die Plazenta nicht normal entwickelt.
Eine Frau hat zwei Eierstöcke. Ungefähr abwechselnd reift in den Eierstöcken etwa jeden Monat eine Eizelle heran. Diese Eizellen können durch Spermien befruchtet werden. Über die Eileiter gelangen die Eizellen zur Gebärmutter. Aus einer befruchteten Eizelle entwickelt sich normalerweise ein Kind.
Aus verschiedenen Gründen kann diese Entwicklung gestört sein. Dann kann es sein, dass das Kind sich nicht richtig entwickelt oder dass sich gar kein Kind entwickelt. Es kann auch sein, dass sich die Plazenta nicht richtig entwickelt. Die Plazenta versorgt normalerweise das Kind während einer Schwangerschaft.
