Während einer Schwangerschaft entwickelt sich innerhalb der Gebärmutter ein Kind. Bei einer Fehlgeburt wird das noch nicht fertig entwickelte Kind vorzeitig aus der Gebärmutter ausgeschieden. Es kann aus verschiedenen Gründen zu einer Fehlgeburt kommen. Es kann sein, dass das Kind sich nicht richtig weiterentwickelt hat und in der Gebärmutter verstorben ist. Es kann auch sein, dass andere Gründe zur Fehlgeburt geführt haben und das Kind unmittelbar danach verstorben ist.
Während oder durch der Fehlgeburt sind Probleme aufgetreten.
