Bei einer örtlichen Betäubung wird die Schmerz-Wahrnehmung nur in einem bestimmten Bereich des Körpers unterdrückt. Bei einer allgemeinen Betäubung kann man zusätzlich Medikamente bekommen, durch die man schlafen soll.
