Die Geburt fand mehr als 2 Wochen nach dem errechneten Geburtstermin statt.
Man zählt die Schwangerschaftswochen meistens ab dem Tag der letzten Regelblutung. Eine Schwangerschaft dauert normalerweise etwa 40 Wochen.
Wenn eine Schwangerschaft länger als 42 Wochen dauert, dann wird das Kind manchmal nicht mehr ausreichend mit Nährstoffen versorgt. Das kann man nach der Geburt zum Beispiel an schrumpeliger, schuppiger Haut oder an fehlenden Fettpolstern beim Neugeborenen sehen.
