Während der Geburt ist ein kindlicher Schädelknochen gebrochen.
Die Knochen des Schädels werden Schädelknochen genannt. Viele einzelne Schädelknochen bilden zusammen das Gerüst des Kopfes und des Gesichts. Bei Schwierigkeiten während der Geburt kann es notwendig sein, eine Saugglocke oder eine Geburtszange einzusetzen. Dabei kann es passieren, dass ein Schädelknochen beim Kind bricht. Ein Schädelknochen kann aber auch ohne den Einsatz von Hilfsmitteln brechen.
