Magnesium gehört zu den Mineralstoffen, die über die Nahrung aufgenommen werden. Während der Zeit im Mutterleib bekommt das Kind Mineralstoffe über die Plazenta durch das mütterliche Blut. Magnesium ist wichtig für den Körper, damit Muskeln und Nerven richtig arbeiten können. Auch Kalzium gehört zu den Mineralstoffen. Kalzium ist zum Beispiel wichtig für die Stabilität der Knochen. Außerdem brauchen wir Kalzium unter anderem für unsere Muskeln und für unsere Nerven.
