In der Zeit kurz nach der Geburt haben Still-Schwierigkeiten bestanden.

Bei Still-Schwierigkeiten hat das Neugeborene Probleme aus der mütterlichen Brust zu trinken. Dafür kann es verschiedene mütterliche und kindliche Gründe geben. Es kann sein, dass die mütterliche Brust anders geformt ist als normalerweise. Dadurch kann das Neugeborene nicht richtig an der Brust saugen. Es kann auch sein, dass es im Mundbereich des Neugeborenen Fehlbildungen gibt und das Stillen dadurch erschwert wird.
