Der Darm besteht aus dem Dünndarm und dem Dickdarm. Im Dünndarm werden die meisten Nährstoffe aufgenommen. Im Dickdarm werden dem Stuhl Wasser und Mineralstoffe entzogen. Der letzte Abschnitt vom Dickdarm ist der Enddarm. Der Stuhl wird dann über den After ausgeschieden. Bei Ihnen gibt es noch einen zusätzlichen Teil vom Dickdarm.
Ein zusätzlicher Teil vom Darm kann zum Beispiel auf andere Organe im Bauch drücken. Es kann auch sein, dass sich der zusätzliche Teil vom Darm entzündet. Man kann dann verschiedene Beschwerden haben. Möglicherweise kann man zum Beispiel eine Schwellung im Bauch tasten. Es kann sein, dass man oft Verstopfungen hat.
