Ihr Hüftgelenk ist anders geformt als normalerweise. Das ist angeboren.
Die beiden Hüftgelenke verbinden das Becken mit den Oberschenkel-Knochen. Seitlich am Beckenknochen ist jeweils eine Mulde. Diese Mulde heißt auch Hüftpfanne. In der Hüftpfanne liegt der Hüftkopf. Der Hüftkopf ist das kugelförmige, obere Ende vom Oberschenkel-Knochen.
Angeborene anders geformte Hüftgelenke müssen zunächst keine Beschwerden machen. Im Verlauf kann es zu Schmerzen beim Gehen kommen. Es kann auch sein, dass die Bewegungen im Hüftgelenk eingeschränkt sind.
