Ihnen fehlen ein oder mehrere Finger in der Mitte Ihrer Hand. Das ist angeboren. Das nennt man Spalthand.
Die Hand besteht aus vielen kleinen Knochen und Gelenken. An der Hand kann man 3 Abschnitte unterscheiden. Die Handwurzel grenzt direkt an den Unterarm. Danach folgen die Mittelhand und anschließend die einzelnen Finger.
Bei einer Spalthand hat sich der Mittelfinger nicht richtig entwickelt. Es können außerdem auch noch weitere Finger fehlen. Eine Spalthand kann erblich sein. Dann können auch weitere Familienmitglieder betroffen sein.
