Es kann viele verschiedene Ursachen dafür geben, dass der Oberschenkel-Knochen nicht richtig entwickelt ist. Zum Beispiel können bestimmte angeborene Erkrankungen zu einem nicht richtig entwickelten Oberschenkel-Knochen führen. Auch die Einnahme bestimmter Medikamente während der Schwangerschaft kann beim Kind dazu führen, dass der Oberschenkel-Knochen nicht richtig entwickelt ist. Dann kann das Bein beim Kind zum Beispiel verbogen oder verkürzt sein.
