Die Muskeln können aus unterschiedlichen Gründen stärker zittern als normalerweise. Das Muskelzittern kann die Arme und Hände, aber auch den Kopf oder andere Teile des Körpers betreffen.
Ein auffälliger Tremor kann bei vielen verschiedenen Erkrankungen oder als Nebenwirkung von Medikamenten auftreten. Es kann auch sein, dass die genaue Ursache für den Tremor nicht bekannt ist.
