Duftdrüsen liegen zum Beispiel in den Achselhöhlen in der Haut. Die Duftdrüsen werden unter anderem durch Botenstoffe beeinflusst. Es kann verschiedene Ursachen dafür geben, dass man vermehrt schwitzt. Die Ursache muss dabei nicht immer krankhaft sein. Wenn man mehr als gewöhnlich schwitzt, dann kann das jedoch sehr belastend sein.
