Verschiedene Bänder und Knorpelscheiben stützen das Kiefergelenk und sorgen für eine gute Beweglichkeit. Die Bänder oder Knorpel sind bei Ihnen überlastet. Die Bänder können dadurch zum Beispiel überdehnt sein.
Es kann sein, dass Sie durch die Verletzung den Mund nicht richtig öffnen oder schließen können. Außerdem können zum Beispiel Schmerzen bestehen.
