Durch die Verletzung wurde Ihr Auge vom Sehnerven abgerissen. Der Sehnerv verbindet das Auge mit dem Gehirn. Der Sehnerv enthält Nervenzellen. Diese Nervenzellen leiten die Seheindrücke von der Netzhaut im Auge weiter ins Gehirn. Wenn der Sehnerv abgerissen ist, dann kann man auf dem betroffenen Auge nichts mehr sehen.
