Sie haben sich durch eine Verletzung mehrere Wirbelgelenke oder andere Gelenke im Hals ausgerenkt.
In einem Gelenk sind mindestens 2 Knochen miteinander verbunden. Im Hals gibt es verschiedene Gelenke. Bei Ihnen stehen die Knochen in mehreren Gelenken im Hals dadurch nicht richtig zueinander.
Es gibt zum Beispiel im Kehlkopf verschiedene Gelenke. Der Kehlkopf ist wichtig für die Atmung und für das Sprechen. Er besteht vor allem aus Knorpel, Bändern und Muskeln. Auch die Stimmbänder liegen im Kehlkopf. Den Kehlkopf kann man besonders gut bei Männern vorne am Hals als vorgewölbte Stelle sehen. Diese Stelle heißt auch Adamsapfel. Die Gelenke im Kehlkopf werden nicht von Knochen, sondern von Knorpeln gebildet.
Durch die Verletzung kann auch umliegendes Gewebe geschädigt werden. Das sind zum Beispiel das Rückenmark, große Blutgefäße, die Luftröhre oder auch die Speiseröhre.
