Schlagadern sind Blutgefäße, die Blut vom Herzen weg befördern. Sie versorgen alle Gewebe des Körpers mit sauerstoffreichem Blut. An bestimmten Stellen des Beins kann man die Schlagadern tasten. Man kann dann fühlen wie schnell der Puls ist.
Sie haben eine Verletzung einer Schlagader vom Fußrücken.
Wenn ein Blutgefäß verletzt ist, dann blutet es meist. Aus einer Schlagader kann es sehr stark bluten. Man kann dann in kurzer Zeit viel Blut verlieren. Bei einer stärkeren Blutung kann sich im Gewebe Blut ansammeln. Man kann dann Schmerzen im Bein haben. Bei einer Blutung unter der Haut bildet sich manchmal ein blauer Fleck.
