Sie haben einen oder mehrere Fremdkörper im Bereich der Hornhaut des Auges.
Am Auge gibt es verschiedene Schichten. Die durchsichtige Hornhaut liegt außen am Auge über der Pupille.
Ein Fremdkörper kann zum Beispiel in der Hornhaut stecken oder fest an der Hornhaut haften. Durch einen Fremdkörper kann man Schmerzen haben und das Auge kann tränen. Das Weiße im Auge kann auch gerötet aussehen. Es kann auch sein, dass man verschwommen sieht oder lichtempfindlicher ist als gewöhnlich. Wenn der Fremdkörper aus Metall besteht, können auch Rückstände von Rost am Auge haften.
