Die Speiseröhre verbindet den Mund mit dem Magen. Sie besteht aus einem Muskelschlauch. Die Muskeln in der Speiseröhre befördern die Nahrung in den Magen.
Sie haben sich vermutlich mit Säuren oder Laugen verätzt. Laugen sind das Gegenteil von Säuren.
Die Beschwerden bei einer Verätzung hängen davon ab, wie stark das Gewebe geschädigt wurde. Es kann sein, dass das betroffene Gewebe rot und geschwollen ist. Manchmal bilden sich auch Blasen oder offene Wunden. Es kann auch sein, dass Gewebe abstirbt. Möglicherweise ist man dann schwer krank. Wenn das geschädigte Gewebe vernarbt, dann kann man dauerhaft Beschwerden haben.
Sie haben sich die Speiseröhre verätzt. Man kann dann manchmal nicht mehr richtig schlucken.
