Bei einer Erfrierung ist Gewebe durch Kälte geschädigt. Je nachdem wie stark das Gewebe geschädigt wurde, unterscheidet man zwischen oberflächlichen und tiefen Erfrierungen. Sie haben oberflächliche Erfrierungen am Bauch, am Rücken, am Becken oder am Gesäß.
Bei einer oberflächlichen Erfrierung kann die Haut blass oder auch rot-blau aussehen und anschwellen. Möglicherweise bilden sich Blasen auf der Haut. Die Stelle kann schmerzen. Es kann auch sein, dass man an der Stelle weniger spürt als normalerweise.
