Narkosemittel sind Medikamente, die zum Beispiel zur Betäubung bei Operationen eingesetzt werden. Die Narkosemittel können dafür sorgen, dass man einschläft. Manche Narkosemittel sorgen auch dafür, dass man keine Schmerzen spürt.

Ein Narkosemittel kann zum Beispiel eine Vergiftung verursachen, wenn zu viel davon verabreicht wurde. Es kann auch sein, dass das Narkosemittel versehentlich oder falsch verabreicht wurde.

Eine Vergiftung durch ein Narkosemittel kann sich zum Beispiel auf den Kreislauf und die Atmung auswirken. Es kann dann sein, dass man nicht genug atmet oder der Blutdruck sehr niedrig ist. Das Herz kann unregelmäßig, zu schnell oder zu langsam schlagen. Je nach Narkosemittel kann es zu verschiedenen weiteren Beschwerden kommen.
