Das Abwehrsystem bildet nach der Impfung bestimmte Stoffe, um die Krankheits-Erreger zu bekämpfen. Wenn man später mit den Krankheits-Erregern in Kontakt kommt, dann kann das Abwehrsystem schneller gegen sie vorgehen. Deshalb können die Erreger dem Körper dann nicht mehr so stark oder gar nicht mehr schaden.
Nach der Impfung treten bei vielen Menschen leichte Beschwerden auf. Dabei kann die Einstichstelle rot oder geschwollen sein. Es können auch Schmerzen auftreten. Bei Ihnen gibt es besondere Probleme. Es kann zum Beispiel sein, dass Sie einen Hautausschlag haben.
