Nach einer Erkrankung an COVID-19 sind mehrere Organe entzündet.
COVID-19 ist die Abkürzung für die Coronavirus-Erkrankung 2019. Diese Erkrankung wird durch bestimmte Corona-Viren verursacht.
Wenn man sich mit bestimmten Corona-Viren ansteckt, kann man Beschwerden haben. Es kann aber auch sein, dass man trotz der Ansteckung keine Beschwerden bekommt. In beiden Fällen kann es passieren, dass einige Zeit nach der Ansteckung eine Entzündung im Körper entsteht. Die Entzündung kann viele verschiedene Organe betreffen. Zum Beispiel können die Haut, das Herz oder der Magen-Darm-Trakt betroffen sein. Auch die Schleimhäute oder die Lunge können entzündet sein.
Man kann sich dann sehr krank und schwach fühlen. Es kann zum Beispiel sein, dass Haut-Ausschläge und Fieber auftreten. Man kann auch starke Bauchschmerzen oder Probleme mit dem Herzen bekommen.
