So ein Gerät kann zum Beispiel eine Herzpumpe oder ein Kunstherz sein. Eine Herzpumpe kann sich innerhalb oder außerhalb vom Körper befinden.
Man kann zum Beispiel einstellen, wie viel Blut das Gerät pumpt oder wie schnell das Kunstherz schlägt.
