Sie haben einen künstlichen Ersatz für ein Gelenk.

Wenn ein Gelenk stark abgenutzt oder verletzt ist, dann kann man Schmerzen haben oder sich schlechter bewegen. Man kann dann einen künstlichen Gelenk-Ersatz bekommen. Dabei werden entweder nur bestimmte Teile des Gelenks oder auch das ganze Gelenk ersetzt. Der Gelenk-Ersatz wird im Knochen verankert.

Man kann zum Beispiel ein Gelenk im Finger, am großen Zeh oder das Kiefergelenk ersetzen.
