Very targeted tissue samples have been taken from blood vessels inside your skull.
The brain is surrounded by a protective shell of bone, known as the skull or cranium.To take the tissue samples from your blood vessels, tools were inserted very precisely into the inside of your skull. Three-dimensional images of your head were produced for this purpose before the operation. A computer was then used to calculate exactly where the tissue samples were to be taken.
