A pacemaker usually consists of a small device with a battery. The pacemaker can emit electrical impulses.

A nerve pacemaker can have one or several cables. A nerve pacemaker transmits electrical impulses to the nerves via the cable ends.

The battery of your neurostimulator is not rechargable.
