In einer Operation wurde erkranktes Gewebe von Ihren Neben-Schilddrüsen entfernt.
Die Neben-Schilddrüsen sind 4 kleine Drüsen am Rand der Schilddrüse. In den Neben-Schilddrüsen wird ein Botenstoff gebildet. Dieser Botenstoff beeinflusst den Gehalt an Kalzium und Phosphat im Körper. Durch den Botenstoff wird das Kalzium aus dem Knochen gelöst und in das Blut abgegeben. Dadurch beeinflusst er auch die Festigkeit vom Knochen.
