It consists of the air-filled tympanic cavity and the 3 ossicles.The ossicles transmit sounds from the eardrum to the inner ear in the form of vibrations.The third auditory ossicle is connected to the inner ear.
Your auditory ossicles were partially replaced. Material from your own body, for example from bone, was used as a replacement.
