We need our noses for breathing and smelling. The outside of the nose is composed of bone and cartilage. The nasal septum divides the nasal cavity into two halves. The inside of the nose is lined with a moist mucous membrane. The nasal concha are bony protrusions in the nose, and also lined with mucous membrane.
During surgery, parts of the cartilage and bone in your nose were reshaped. Human or animal donor tissue was used for this purpose.
