The paranasal sinuses are air-filled cavities in the skull. They are each connected to the nasal cavity via an opening that forms the inside of the nose. The paranasal sinuses are lined internally with mucous membrane. There are four different paranasal sinuses.The frontal sinus is above the eyebrows behind the forehead.
The surgery involved removing the upper part of your nasal septum. This enlarges the opening between the frontal sinus and nasal cavity.The nasal septum divides the nasal cavity into the left and right nasal passages. The nostrils are the openings into these two nasal passages.
