The paranasal sinuses are air-filled cavities in the skull. They are each connected to the nasal cavity via an opening that forms the inside of the nose. The paranasal sinuses are lined internally with mucous membrane. There are four different paranasal sinuses.The frontal sinus is above the eyebrows behind the forehead.
The opening between the frontal sinus and nasal cavity was dilated using a balloon. This enlarges the opening between the frontal sinus and nasal cavity.
