Ihre Hauptschlagader wurde in einer Operation mit einer Stütze ummantelt.
Die Hauptschlagader beginnt direkt am Herzen. Sie verläuft zuerst nach oben und dann in einem Bogen nach unten durch den Brustkorb zum Bauch. Etwa in Höhe des Bauchnabels zweigt sich die Hauptschlagader in 2 große Blutgefäße auf. Diese Blutgefäße verlaufen erst im Becken und dann im Bein.
Die Stütze umhüllt den obersten Teil der Hauptschlagader. Die Hauptschlagader soll dadurch stabilisiert werden.
