Sie hatten eine Operation, um eine Analfistel zu behandeln.
Der letzte Abschnitt des Dickdarms besteht aus 2 Teilen. Diese 2 Teile sind der Mastdarm und der Analkanal. Im Mastdarm wird der Stuhl gesammelt. Der Stuhl gelangt dann durch den kurzen Analkanal zum After. Über den After wird der Stuhl ausgeschieden.
Eine Analfistel ist ein Verbindungs-Gang zwischen dem letzten Darmabschnitt und der äußeren Haut um den After. Bei Ihrer Operation wurde ein Faden in den Verbindungs-Gang eingelegt. Der Faden soll dafür sorgen, dass Flüssigkeit aus dem Gang abfließen kann.
