In einer Operation wurde bei Ihnen eine künstliche Ableitung für den Urin geschaffen.
Der Harnleiter ist ein dünner Muskelschlauch im Bauch. Es gibt normalerweise auf jeder Seite einen Harnleiter. Der Urin fließt von der Niere über den Harnleiter in die Harnblase.
Um eine künstliche Ableitung für den Urin zu schaffen, wurde bei Ihnen ein Stück vom Dünndarm abgetrennt. Die Harnleiter wurden dann mit dem einen Ende des Dünndarm-Stücks verbunden. Das andere Ende des Dünndarm-Stücks wurde mit der Haut am Bauch vernäht. Dadurch soll der Urin nach außen abgeleitet werden. Der Urin kann dann zum Beispiel in einem Beutel aufgefangen werden.
