Ihr Gebärmutter-Hals wurde während der Schwangerschaft stabilisiert.
Die Gebärmutter liegt im Becken und ist wie eine Birne geformt. Der schmalere Teil ragt nach unten in die Scheide hinein und heißt Gebärmutter-Hals. In der Gebärmutter entwickelt sich bei einer schwangeren Frau das Kind.
Zur Stabilisierung des Gebärmutter-Halses wird eine Naht um den Teil des Gebärmutter-Halses gelegt, der in die Scheide hineinragt. Die Naht soll verhindern, dass sich der Gebärmutter-Hals aufdehnt.
