Ihr Muttermund wurde während der Schwangerschaft mithilfe einer Naht verschlossen.
Die Gebärmutter liegt im Becken und ist wie eine Birne geformt. Der schmalere Teil ragt nach unten in die Scheide hinein und heißt Gebärmutter-Hals. In der Gebärmutter entwickelt sich bei einer schwangeren Frau das Kind. Im Gebärmutter-Hals befindet sich ein Kanal, der die Scheide mit dem Inneren der Gebärmutter verbindet. Die Öffnung dieses Kanals ist der Muttermund. Wenn man bei einer Untersuchung in das Innere der Scheide schaut, dann kann man den Muttermund erkennen.
