In einer Operation wurde Schleimhaut aus Ihrer Gebärmutter zerstört.
Die Gebärmutter liegt im Becken und ist wie eine Birne geformt. Der schmalere Teil ragt nach unten in die Scheide hinein und heißt Gebärmutter-Hals. In der Gebärmutter entwickelt sich bei einer schwangeren Frau das Kind.
Die Wand der Gebärmutter besteht hauptsächlich aus Muskeln. Außen umgibt eine dünne Haut die Gebärmutter. Innen wird die Gebärmutter durch Schleimhaut ausgekleidet.
