Sie wurden an der Hinterwand Ihrer Scheide operiert.
Die Scheide ist schlauchförmig und führt von außen zur Gebärmutter. Die Hinterwand der Scheide grenzt an den Enddarm. Der Enddarm ist der letzte Abschnitt des Darms.
Bei der Operation wurde vom Scheiden-Inneren aus ein Schnitt in die Hinterwand Ihrer Scheide gemacht. Anschließend wurde ein Kunststoff-Netz zwischen der Hinterwand Ihrer Scheide und Ihrem Enddarm eingebracht. Dadurch soll sich die Hinterwand der Scheide weniger nach vorn wölben.
