A vacuum cup was used during the birth.
If there are difficulties during the birth and the child's head is lying deep in the pelvis, a vacuum cup may be used. A suction cup can be attached to the back of the child’s head during the labor. This helps to pull the child out of the vagina. However, the child could not be born with the aid of the vacuum cup.
