In Ihrer Gebärmutter oder Ihrer Scheide wurde eine Blutung gestillt.
Die Gebärmutter liegt im Becken und ist wie eine Birne geformt. Der schmalere Teil ragt nach unten in die Scheide hinein und heißt Gebärmutter-Hals. In der Gebärmutter entwickelt sich bei einer schwangeren Frau das Kind.
Um die Blutung zu stillen, wurde ein Ballon eingeführt. Anschließend wurde der Ballon mit einer Flüssigkeit gefüllt. Der Ballon soll auf die Blutgefäße drücken und so die Blutung stillen.
