OPS-Code 5-784.d2:
Operations on other bones: Bone transplantation and transposition: Transplantation of a cortico-spongiosa chip, autogenous, endoscopic: Shaft of humerus
You had an operation to place bone material in your humerus.
There are different parts to the humerus. The top end is connected to the shoulder blade in the shoulder joint. In the middle of the humerus there is a long, straight section. The lower end is connected to the forearm in the elbow joint.
The bone material was placed in the middle section of the humerus. In your case, the bone material was inserted within the scope of an endoscopy. An endoscopy starts with a small incision being made in the skin. A thin tube or hose is advanced through this incision. There is a camera at the top of the tube or scope. The camera transmits images of the inside of the body to a screen. Instruments such as forceps or scissors can be inserted through other small incisions.
The bone material for your humerus was taken from another part of your body beforehand.
