OPS-Code 5-784.e3:
Operations on other bones: Bone transplantation and transposition: Transplantation of spongiosa, allogeneic, endoscopic: Distal humerus
You had an operation to place bone material in your humerus.
There are different parts to the humerus. The top end is connected to the shoulder blade in the shoulder joint. In the middle of the humerus there is a long, straight section. The lower end is connected to the forearm in the elbow joint.
The bone material was placed at the lower end of the humerus. In your case, the bone material was placed during an arthroscopy. An arthroscopy first involves making a small incision in the skin. A thin tube is advanced through this incision. There is a camera at the top of the tube. The camera transmits images of the inside of the joint to a screen. Instruments such as forceps and scissors can be inserted into the joint through other small incisions.
The bone material for your humerus came from another person.
