The wrist is made up of several small joints.At the wrist, the forearm bones, the ulna and radius, articulate with several bones of the hand. The ulna and radius are each connected to the hand via their own joint. There is also another joint between the ends of the ulna and the radius.
The bones of the affected joints were first returned to their correct position. The joints were then stabilized using one or more screws.
