An Ihrer Wirbelsäule wurde ein Teil einer Bandscheibe entfernt.
Die Wirbelsäule besteht aus den einzelnen Wirbeln. Zwischen 2 Wirbeln liegt jeweils eine Bandscheibe. Bandscheiben bestehen aus Knorpel und Bindegewebe. Bandscheiben verbinden benachbarte Wirbel miteinander und polstern Druck und Stöße ab.
Bei Ihnen hatte sich ein Teil einer Bandscheibe vom übrigen Gewebe abgetrennt. Das kann zum Beispiel passieren, wenn Bandscheiben-Gewebe verschleißt. In der Operation wurde der abgetrennte Teil der Bandscheibe entfernt.
